Sometimes life closes a door and opens another one.

 Sometimes we concentrate on the one that is closing and don't focus on the one that is opening.

My mom told me that. Somedays reflecting on the closing door is difficult. Sometimes you wish that it would have been different and not happened the way they did.

 Letting go is difficult and takes time, sometimes a long time.

 But in the end, things work out, I guess.

Destiny

I haven't written for a while. I am very proud of my son. He has beenb going to church alot lately, a christian rock concert, and youth convention, is involved in youth group and has met a christian girl who has definitely been a good influence on him. I have seen a change in him that is so wonderful. i am so proud of him. :)At the rock concert, a speaker was handing out chain links to the kids and was talking about saving yourself for the one you marry, and my son said he got 3 of them to remind him. :)I asked him to pray for me , because I have a job interview tomorrow, and he said he would. It surprised me, and made me smile at the same time.I am so proud of him and feel truly blessed. He has even stopped hanging out with certain kids, because "he wanted to". He really cares about going to church and I can just tell a difference in him, and he doesn't say much except what they did and what they are planning on doing and that every time it was "awesome". The Lord sure has blessed us. Thankyou Jesus.We both have gone thru alot of heartache lately, but I know God's will, will be done, because i ask that from the Lord. Sometimes I get a little mental from the past things i have gone thru, and lose touch and feel severely depressed, like their isn't an answer , and then to watch my son and see what is going on in his life, makes me feel blessed. Thankyou again Lord for my gift that you gave me 18 yrs. ago. You truly love me. :)
